The new VX6 Scooter range from Madd Gear has been developed over the past 12 months with the knowledge gained from previous VX collections, to once again, produce their best range of complete scooters and parts to date.
MGP collections are always jam packed with quality industry leading products and this year is no different. Madd Gear has raised the bar again with their hydro graphic applications that are set to take the industry by storm.
The Madd Gear VX6 line up includes the Pro, Team, Nitro and Extreme. Below is a detailed look at each model and its upgrades for this year.
MGP VX6 Extreme Scooter
It’s easy to see that the VX6 Extreme scooter has received some amazing upgrades this year from Madd Gear MGP, which includes the brand new, lightweight alloy, Aero bars, a new double clamp and the hydro-graphic deck wrap application – with new designs available in limited quantities. With the way the hydro-graphic is applied to the deck, it means that there will never be two VX6 Extreme decks which are exactly the same making them truly one of a kind. To preserve the deck without hiding the unique graphic application, the MGP VX6 Extreme is supplied with a sheet of Clear grip tape.
The MGP VX6 Extreme deck continues to evolve by increasing strength and eliminating weight, using the highest quality 6061 T4 and T6 heat treated alloy to create a 4.5″ wide internally fluted deck with 3 degree concave and the Extremedeck cut outs. The signature MGP 3D forged downtube is robotically welded to the extruded deck base.

MGP VX6 Nitro Scooter
It’s hard to upgrade the Nitro scooter each year when it already features the best parts available, but again Madd Gear MGP have managed to fit some awesome new spec upgrades on the VX6 Nitro, including a brand new graphic application process. Thanks to the all new hydro-graphic application process, no VX6 Nitro deck is the same as another and MGP‘s most popular bars – the Batwing Swoop bars, are back and teamed with DDAM M1 3D forged forks, 120mm Vicious anodised alloy cores and NEW K3 (ABEC 11 rated) bearings.

MGP VX6 Team Scooter
The Team Edition has always been the best value for money scooter in the Madd Gear MGP range and this year, the VX6 Team Edition is no different. With a 4.5″ wide concave deck, IHC compression and 110mm alloy core wheels coming as standard, MGP have now gone one better and chrome plated the bars, switched the Aero cores for the cold forged Filth cores and K2 (ABEC 9 rated) bearings and introduced an anodised finish to the decks.

MGP VX6 Pro Scooter
When it comes to picking an entry level Pro Scooter, you can’t do better than the new MGP VX6 Pro Scooter! For this year, MGP have continued to improve the MGP Pro model by bringing back the deck fade finish on some models and increasing the one piece bars to 23″ in height and 21″ wide and have now made them oversized (35mm) in line with rider preferences. Don’t worry if you think that this may be too high for your child as the bars can be easily cut down to suit by a specialist retailer or competent adult.
